Description
Minimum qualifications:- Doctor of Medicine degree (or equivalent) and completion of accredited residency/fellowship.
- Experience in health systems or process improvement, or clinical informatics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Residency training in internal medicine or med-peds, or similar.
- Ability to improve processes, and work with large teams of stakeholders across Google to drive these projects.
- Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and leadership through influence.
- Ability to focus on healthcare systems with the user (patient).
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic, and investigative skills, combined with strong business acumen, and ability to communicate complex medical topics to non-clinical partners.
- Excellent quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive strategy.

A centralized Health team helps coordinate Google's health-related products and services. Experts within the Health team are focused on a range of topics including clinical expertise, ethics, compliance, public health, health equity and Googler health and safety.
The Global Employee Health (GEH) team within Health focuses on enabling all Googlers globally to grow via an accessible and integrated portfolio of evidence-based programs and services to promote the health and wellbeing of our population, their family members, and the community around them.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Use clinical expertise to provide guidance on programs impacting the health outcomes of Googlers and their families. Understand the complex healthcare ecosystem to optimize user journeys and experience.
- Identify evidence-based practices to influence core health program deliverables and service level expectations. Support the development of clinical white papers to align stakeholders, guiding policy decisions and procedures to improve health and safety work processes.
- Track emerging technologies and trends in healthcare to provide forward-looking insights and inform innovative care strategies.
- Engage in supporting regional workplace health and safety efforts such as illness and injury response activities and event safety support.
- Serve as an internal voice for Google's health-focused work and represent projects from a variety of perspectives.
