Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence (BI), or data engineering.
- Experience with relational databases including SQL queries, database definition, and schema design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading and scaling multi-disciplinary analytics functions within matrixed organizations.
- Experience in product management, developing and managing a portfolio of data products (e.g., dashboards, self-service tools), emphasizing user needs, adoption, and reliability for an internal user base.
- Experience in modern BI/data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau), adoption of new tools and methodologies in a leadership role at a technology company or consulting firm.
- Ability to partner with executive leadership, translating ambiguous business issues into clear investigative roadmaps and influencing cross-functional priorities.
About the jobIn this role, you will be responsible for driving all go-to-market functions for the YouTube Business Organization, including strategy and business operations, analytics and data science, partnership enablement, and product activation. You will be responsible for shaping go-to-market priorities to accelerate growth and resource the business accordingly; enhancing skills and capabilities to support execution of business priorities; driving efficiency across business operations; and building excellent go-to-market infrastructure (e.g., data, reports, dashboards, and GenAI solutions). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $234,000-$325,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct data products that assist YouTube Business divisions, specifically focused on Brand Deals and Shopping and Influence business strategy.
- Convert commercial requirements into technical frameworks by applying extensive role-specific expertise and utilizing Google's internal processes and technologies.
- Execute organizational change through data-informed insights gathered from both internal and external datasets, using these findings to influence and align key stakeholders.
- Lead a team of business analysts and data experts and lead data-centric projects that enhance the reporting infrastructure for business stakeholders. Create, implement, and refine data architectures and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows to empower data scientists, business data analysts, and executive users with accessible information for decision-making.
- Collaborate with the analyst group to identify friction in data sourcing and user journeys, while advocating for standardized best practices and conducting training sessions.
