Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and training, as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with Google Ad Solutions, skills in video advertising (e.g., AI-powered Performance and Video, CTV).
- Understanding of engaged landscape across traditional and digital media advertising.
- Ability to promote/propose creative technologies across a landscape of various decision makers.
- Ability to develop joint business plans in ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
- Ability to utilize abstract thinking and systems thinking to align strategies for delivering customer business outcomes.

As an Account Executive in B2B Retail, you use your working knowledge of advertising and B2B Retail to identify and enable longer-term opportunities by contributing to business plan development, account-level strategy, and annual activation plans.
You are client-centric, you take big swings, you can sell across the funnel (e.g., video, display, search) and have an expertise in C suite relationship building in highly matrixed organizations. You support your team in business strategy development, presenting, customer relationship growth, and opportunity sizing. You contribute to cross-team collaborations to support customer growth, align on opportunity/project timelines and goals, and ensure Google solutions are presented to customers. You develop relationships with customers, expanding our influence across the organization.
Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
- Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
- Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
- Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
- Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
