The Role
Account Director I - SLED. Identifyand developnew salesopportunities,providesproduct solutions,ensurescustomer satisfaction, andmaintainspositive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company.Introducescompany products and services to new and/or existing customers. Develops andmaintainsaccuratesales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels.
The Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing sales in the designated target market(s) byidentifyingnew salesopportunities by contacting prospective customers by cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointmentsin order tomeet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
- Developsandmanagesrelationships with acquired and/or existing customersin order toattain additional business and retain existing revenue.Developsaction plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customerspendwith the company.
- Learns and develops further knowledge ofnew technologiesand sellingpointswhich includes enhancingexpertisein the company's entire product suite.
- Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
- Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecastfunnelof identified and proposed opportunitiesin order tomeet or exceed sales quota requirements.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum skills required to perform in this role.
5 years of industry sales experience
Preferred Experience:
Experience: 5 yrs industry specific sales experience
Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape.
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$85,586 - $142,643 in these states: AZ
