Foundry Construction and Supply is seeking a dynamic and motivated Supply Chain Undergraduate Intern to contribute to our world-class supply chain operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and inventory management while supporting Intel's ability to meet production and customer requirements efficiently. This internship offers hands-on experience, allowing you to learn and apply knowledge, build valuable skills, and explore career opportunities in a collaborative and innovative environment. Your contributions will directly support Intel's business goals and help drive impactful results across the supply chain.
This is a summer internship opportunity with a supply chain organization; this is a project-based internship that will include a true supply chain problem to solve and make recommendations at the end of the Summer. Project scope can vary from cost savings, time savings, new dashboard/model, streamlined process, etc. Each intern will have a unique project to research during the summer period and provide a resolution or a potential business impact with your recommendation at the end of the summer.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in data analysis to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to meet production needs and customer requirements.
- Contribute to special projects that drive innovation and enhance Intel's supply chain operations.
- Support planning, coordination, and execution of material movement and inventory management.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Behavioral traits that we are looking for:
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross functional engineering teams.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- The candidate must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or a related field of study.
- Must have GPA minimum of 3.0
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Supply chain management or engineering (procurement, supplier selection, management, contract negotiations, logistics, distribution, planning, materials/inventory management, factory operations).
- Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Understands and streamlines business strategies, customer, and supplier management.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $53,900.00-72,800.00 USD (Hourly Role)
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Our standard internship rates are based on your degree, location, and the job role. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation range for your preferred location and job role during the hiring process.
Work Model for this Role
